Jancis Robinson: Ruby/red. Delicate, musky, brambly fruit, good, crisp tannin ‘grip’, but the fruit is there; indeed, this tasted like a much younger wine, with lots of structure and fruit and tannins balancing perfectly. A star. 19

Jeremy Watson: Again, this doesn’t sing to me, and a 1995 gran reserva should do. Nothing wrong with it, but it gives no more than a good Crianza. 14
