Jancis Robinson: Garnet/tawny. Nice, warm, ripe, with some fruit character – perfumed. Good, nice fruit structure, still plenty of life left in it. Pleasant, warm finish – good condition for the year. 16

Jeremy Watson: This has aged distinctly but graciously. Clear browning at the edges, with fading aromas. In the mouth it is still full, but tiring. A pleasing glass that still reflects a fine heritage. 17
