Jancis Robinson: Ruby/red. Spicy, spiky, brambly fruit, barest hint of oxidisation. But nice, structured fruit, warm, ripe, a speck of tannin but… on the finish the return of the burn – oxidisation. Drink up. 13
Jeremy Watson: Colour firm but flat, while on the nose this has gentle aromas of fruit and American oak. In the mouth it is quite lively, but in the end it does not add up to one of the great ’94s. 15.5
