Michel Bettane: Nice fresh hazelnut nose. Good balance and harmony. 15
Simon Larkin : A deeper appearance than [the Clos de Cazals]. Restrained aromatics of gentle creamy, toasty fruit. The palate shows richness, with a vanilla-cream intensity. A luxuriant note is imparted by the mousse, and there is a minerally dart to the finish. A fine example destined to evolve for more than a decade; currently a little assertive. 17
Anthony Rose: Youthful, bright golden colour. Persistent mousse, and rich, honeyed aromas, with some citrussy, pineappley fruit. Good, rich, creamy mousse, intense fruit flavours of dried peach and apricot, with complexity and finesse. 17
