BUY THE WINE

Simon Field: Colour starting to evolve, ditto the palate. However, its constituent elements are, unfortunately, evolving at different speeds. The result is acceptable but somewhat incoherent. 11

Andrew Jefford: Clear purple-red; no more black. Sweet, pleasant but unfocussed and lacking power and profundity. Sound, pleasant, tangy, but pretty inconsequential. 11.5

Richard Mayson: Good deep colour, thin purple rim. Open, opulent nose with soft, opulent fruit on the palate to match. Sound, with firm tannins rising in the mouth, but a little disjointed and one-dimensional on the finish. Drink 2008-2025. 15
