Tim Atkin : Developed, ruby/brick red. Ripe, high-toned nose with pronounced oak. Palate ripe, mature and harmonious with lovely fruit sweetness and well-integrated oak flavours. Should develop for 3-5 years. Very long. 17.5
Oz Clarke: Attractive claret, brick red. Nose - pleasant, a bit light and leafy. Palate - not bad, but it’s still red fruit. The objective of Cabernet is surely to achieve the glories of black fruit - blackcurrant, black plum, black cherry, black olive. And this, like many others in this tasting, hasn’t managed to fight past red. It’s a good wine, nice red fruit, decent tannin and acid that tickles your tongue. 14
