Michael Schuster: Toasty oak-vanilla-dominated nose; supple, medium-bodied wine-typical Conseillante proportions-with a slight oak-dry tannin; ripe-fruited, fleshy, well sustained and moderately complex; classy, if not weighty. 16+
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Fleshy and magnificently oaked, silky smooth and long with plenty of licorice-scented tannins. Probably one of the most successful Pomerols of this vintage. 17
