Michael Schuster: Unusually oaky nose for Filhot, very rich and very round in a softer style; very sweet and very succulent if not particularly complex. Past performances suggest this is likely to age well, though. 15

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Rich and without that unpleasant whiff of sulphur that we associate with en primeur tastings. The texture of the liqueur was slightly pasty. 15
