Once more the emphasis is on elegance rather than volume. There is good persistence and marked acidity. A good, if slightly uninspiring, example. Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth. Nose not particularly forthcoming. Some firm tannins on the palate, good acid, but fruit a little pinched, surprisingly for a '97. Drying tannins on the finish, lacks the generosity of the vintage. 14
