Nicolas Belfrage: Lots of cherry fruit, somewhat evolved, but no great subtlety, with bitter cherry pip character and some aggressive tannin. But correct, drink from 20 to 2020. 14

Roy Richards Soft, Burgundian nose – could be in Clos Vougeot. Atypical – high altitude? – Brunello, but better this than the traduced, international interpretations. 15

Franco Ziliani: Ruby, light-violet color. Very Sangiovese style. The nose is fresh, appealing, elegant, with cherry, plum, licorice and leather notes and some dried flowers. Absolutely Tuscan. Very fresh, vibrant, energetic, with a solid tannin (from fruit) structure, good development, fleshy, long persistence, and a very balanced and appealing finish. A good Brunello, very good to drink now but with a good ageing potential. I love a wine like this! 17
