BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage: Very deep, correct sour-cherry nose, some volatility (positive). Sour cherry but sweet on finish with good concentration and acidity. Very attractive now, not sure about future. Nice balance, needs time, drink 2015 on. 16

Roy Richards Menthol, possibly dirt – tobacco leaf. No, it is not dirty on palate, but very tight and rustic. Extraction without beauty. Serious, but I cannot see the ugly duckling becoming a swan. 14

Franco Ziliani: Ruby-garnet color. Interesting, complex nose with licorice, wild herbs, and aromatic and earthy tones. Good ripe, but not overripe, fruit with a minerally nuances. Simple structure with aggressive tannins not in harmony with fruit. The finish is bitter and dry and lacks freshness. Almost tired, no great future in my opinion. 12
