Nicolas Belfrage: Quite deep, some turn. Fruit mingles with wood on nose – typical, though there is an elegance which distinguishes it. Palate is surprisingly soft and round, lots of cherry and berry fruit and ripe tannins but rather low acidity for the long haul. Pleasant now, modern style, drink 2010-20. 15

Roy Richards Fresh, but not particularly expressive. Second nose is even acidity. Some licorice. A proper wine, if not distinguished. 15

Franco Ziliani: Unclean, aggressive, extractive, green notes on the nose. The palate is rich, with a good length and richness, solid tannic structure, but the finish is not perfectly balanced, with some dry, astringent, bitter notes. Perhaps still very young. 14
