Nicolas Belfrage: Quite deep with beginnings of the road typical Brunello with firm acid and tannins but has the components to be a good bottle from 2015, if a little high in alcohol. 15

Roy Richards New oak, modern vanilla, initial fresh attack, then falls away to a bitter finish, probably down to oak. 10

Franco Ziliani: Very fresh, flowery, fruity, elegant nose. Very Sangiovese style: fleshy fruit, cherries, plus some leather and licorice, with a good intensity and Tuscan character. The palate is very interesting, full-bodied, with fleshy fruit, solid and not aggressive tannins, long finish and persistence with good freshness and vibrant acidity. 16.5
