Tim Atkin: Mid-garnet/red. concentrated, sweet, aromatic nose, with some potpourri notes. On the ripe side again, with pronounced alcohol on the nose and palate, and a slightly jammy finish. tannin and dryness and heat on the back palate, but also some appealing spice and pepper and concentration. 15

Nicolas Belfrage: Very deep color. A little lax on both nose and palate; a little soupy. Can drink now for a few years, but it won’t set the world on fire, even if it seems correct. Seems a bit oxidized, too. 14

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to orange rim. Mature, open, small-red-fruit nose, with tobacco leaf and cedarwood. medium to full body, with clean fruit, yet a touch simple and one-dimensional. 15
