Michael Schuster: Fine and fragrant, ripe fruit and minerals nose; full, fresh to vital in acidity, fairly concentrated, and finely, firmly tannic; sweetly ripe red fruit in flavor, long and fine and vivid, a touch of tannic sinew, sapid, juicy, fragrant and elegant, and with a lovely fruit and perfume persistence.
