BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: A clear, deep red. Refined, deep, polished aromas: plum and cherry, meat stock and mushroom. Both seductive yet serene and harmonious already. On the palate, the wine is deep, concentrated, and balanced: neither harsh nor evanescent, but perfectly judged. Flavors of marked refinement (walnut, hazel, plum, old libraries, the beech hangar in autumn), yet with a little of the comely inner sweetness of 2011, too. Majestic.
