Andrew Jefford: aerial grace, but the draught of fruit is sustained, too. In context, this is a light and elegant wine— Barolo at its most Burgundian—but there is magnificent complexity of flavor and perfume here which, after a stealthy opening, proves tongue-seizing. Nuts and mushrooms dispute with redcurrants ... and much else, doubtless, with time.
