Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Rich, opulent, plummy nose, seductive fruitiness and no stewed character. Fairly rich, rather soft in texture but not flabby, has some grip and weight, ripe, chewy tannins and more acidity than expected. Not showing much complexity now, but a fine, solid, balanced wine with plenty of flesh. Quite good length. 16.5
Stephen Browett: Medium color, fragrant, creamy nose. Lightweight but classy and smooth. Easy-going, supple, and silky. Not a keeper but quite charming. The best of the JP Moueix wines in this flight by some distance. 14.5
Michael Schuster: Dark, brick-rimmed red; noticeably lively, fresh, scented, nose, almost piquant; very elegantly balanced, firmly but very finely tannic; long, fresh, graceful, and rich, but still a slightly severe flavor; scented, quite complex, well sustained across the palate, long and fragrant to finish. Has hardened up in bottle, but is still full of promise. However, we are looking at 10–15 years at least. And the harmony then? From 2017. 17.5
