James Lawther: The first time Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) has been included in the blend (along with 65% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc). Deep, dark color. Rich and concentrated but post-bottling (July 2012) appears a little awkward. Dense, long, and powerful. Great depth, but at this stage a little less purity than the 2009. Should throw off the edginess but needs time to evolve. Drink 2018–30. 17.5
