Joanna Simon: Breathtakingly good. Vibrantly fresh, yet opulent on the nose, with a flowery violet intensity threaded with elegantly spicy oak. The palate is deep, dense, and layered with sweet black fruit and a lasting impression of racy freshness, incisive intensity, and impeccable balance. It was extraordinarily accessible tasted in March 2015, but can only develop complexity over many years (another 30 perhaps).
