BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; honeyed and intense to smell; full, concentrated, with a fairly fresh balancing acidity; rich, intensely sweet, with a clear botrytis spicy complexity, good length of flavor, and good aromatic length to follow on the aftertaste. 92–93

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Perfect purity of botrytis, as often this year, remarkable liqueur but, like many, slightly less beauty in texture than 2015. 96–97
