Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Soft, delicate and understated: attractive, low-focus pineapple and apricot. On the palate, too, it is a soft, gently, open-textured wine which gratifies now but promises little for the future. There just isn’t the concentration or pungency for much excitement here, though it’s a pretty short-term mouthful. Now to 2020. 85
Stephen Brook: Dumb nose. Fresh but dilute and somewhat neutral. A second wine, so one shouldn’t expect a great deal, but there’s an unwelcome tartness on the mid-palate. Fairly short. 83
