Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Warm and enticing, though you might guess Cab Franc rather than Cab Sauv from the glass alone. Soundly ripe and vivid, with a meaty brooding quality; an incense note, too. Smooth, light, and tangy on the palate, and a little disappointing after the enticing nose. There’s plenty of acidic impact and gently extracted concentration, but little central palate wealth. This is nonetheless a sound and well-made wine based on ripe though not wealthy fruit. Now to 2019. 86
