Nicolas Belfrage: Attractive fruit, rather than wood, on the nose. Suggests a drinker. Immediately establishes its presence, covers the tongue and proceeds to a nicely balanced finish, with a bit of bitterness on the closure. Medium length. Juicy, drinking now, though best to let settle another year. 90

Bruno Besa: Lively garnet to ruby. Mature, clean, defined cherry and plum fruit nose with orange peel and elegant mineral undertones. Superbly clean palate, with balanced tannins and lively acidity. Long cherry fruit finish Impeccable Sangiovese that need time to show all its complexity. 94

Andrew Jefford: Deep though clear black-red. Warm, refined, and harmonious aromas: red fruits, tea leaf, underbrush. An attractive and graceful aromatic profile. A pure cascade of lively red fruits backed by ample, firm tannins makes this a commanding Brunello, generously constituted yet very fresh, poised, and brisk in terms of its character. Outstanding, and with plenty of cellar time yet. 94
