Jesús Barquín: Bright pale yellow. Intense aromas of lime and grass in the nose, somewhat pungent. The palate confirms this impression; medium-bodied, very dry, persistent, echoes of lemon in the finish. 89

Andrew Jefford: Steel green-white in color. Fresh, sappy nose—lots of plant sap, crushed leaf, almond husk. Appetizing and good. Simple in constitution, but the style and freshness are spot-on: mouthwateringly bready-saline Manzanilla packed with pounded almond and green olive for drinking by the gallon with all manner of dishes. 92

Peter Liem: This is quietly elegant, showing a subtle, flor-driven detail and a silky finesse. Its inimitably savory undertone is so thrillingly reflective of the Marco de Jerez—this is why we all started drinking Sherry in the first place. At the same time, it feels constricted and overly restrained in flavor, making me want more on the palate and finish. While it’s delicious, this is exactly the sort of Sherry that you wish wasn’t so heavily filtered. 89
