Jesús Barquín: Deep golden. Unbalanced on both nose and palate, with scattered hints of citrus but also oxidation notes. 80

Andrew Jefford: Full bright winking lemon gold. Lots of bread and cress here, snipped about and faintly peppery: attractive and characterful. Concentrated, broad, long, and complex on the palate; the pasada delivers a true knife-and-fork Manzanilla that is more than ready to stand up to a wide range of dishes. A nice, soft, seaweed-and-green-olive finish, too. 91

Peter Liem: This feels relatively youthful for a pasada, though its notes of celery and blanched almond aren’t remotely primary. It’s round in body and supple in texture, finishing with a saline complexity and fine length, and it promises to develop more complexity and expression with bottle age. 92
