Jesús Barquín: Pale yellow, bright. Typical nose of good quality commercial Manzanilla: serious, herbal, fina. The palate shows some volume and fat, especially in the finish. The aftertaste matches the nose. 90

Andrew Jefford: Limpid silver-green. Fresh and planty, to look on the bright side, but with a slightly chemical cast to the aromas which doesn’t entice. Planty and seaweedy on the palate—very attractive drinking here, with a cascade of fresh richness and that mouthwateringly maritime style. A shame the aromas are a little more classic as we’d then be looking at a good score here. 88

Peter Liem: Within a context of filtered Sherry, this feels bold and exuberant, and firmly rooted in a sense of place. It’s deftly poised and sleek in build, underlined by salty notes of soil, and it finishes with long, focused fragrance. 92
