Neil Beckett: Slightly lighter in color than the 1961, but still a very clear, very deep ruby/tawny. Enormously exciting, exotic, risqué, liaisons dangereuses nose, with a seductive Asiatic spiciness. Elegant, very refined, and supple, still with astonishing clarity and intensity on the mid-palate. Finely integrated acidity keeps it fresh and invigorating, and there is greater delicacy and finesse than in any of the previous ten vintages. Completely captivating wine. Drink now to 2015+. 19
