Neil Beckett: Very deep ruby, almost opaque. A potent, smoky nose. Smoothly textured, with plenty of grip and vigor, but chewy and dry on the end, and a slighty uncontrolled, spiraling finish. Although this is generally more highly rated as a vintage, I prefer the previous wine. Drink to 2015. 16.5
