Neil Beckett: Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon Barossa Valley Shiraz Black/purple, still crimson rim. Composed, harmonious, almost luridly vivid: dark, glossy fruit, exotic and incense-like. Dense, plush, richly fruited, though still to settle down on the long finish and rather too young to judge at this stage. (The other of Penfolds’ first two en primeur releases.) Drink 2015–50. 18?
