Simon Field: Relatively light but with real luminosity, and an elegant and complex nose. The palate is rich and unctuous: extraordinarily voluptuous for its age and decadent beyond reproach. 17

Richard Mayson: Pale amber-tawny color. Clean, delicate, high-toned, and much less rich in style than many of its peers. Restrained sweetness on the palate, quite delicate, with a fine candied-peel finish. Atypical of the category as a whole but very fine. 17.5

Margaret Rand: A powdery nose, an orangey-coffee palate, and a very good, long finish. Confident, elegant, not too sweet, and very moreish. 17.5
