Jesús Barquín:Somewhat heavy nose of blooming oranges, dry figs, freshly baked cake, on both nose and palate, leaving a general impression of a wine that wants better definition and firmer structure. 13
Richard Mayson:Very deep, opaque, inky color; ripe, floral fragrance with some underlying depth and richness; vibrant berry fruit, fresh and lively, with firm bittersweet tannins rising in the mouth and lovely berry-fruit length. Not as powerful or well put together as some but good nonetheless. 16.5
Charles Metcalfe:Sweet, ripe, malty. Palate is good, with solid fruit, good, smooth tannins, and decent acidity. This is good wine, if lacking complexity. It’s relatively accessible, smooth, and can be enjoyed early. The finish is sweetly fruity and very smooth. Well balanced and precocious. 14.5
