Jesús Barquín:Ruby with amber rim. The nose is marked by very ripe, jammy fruit, with not very clean oxidation hints. The palate is better, with honeyed fruit and a spicy touch. 85

Andrew Jefford:Clear russet amber in color. Rough-cut apple and plum sweetness. On the palate, this is lively and fresh, with ample fruit; seamless, too, with deftly integrated spirit. An excellent 10 Year Old, which has retained some freshness and zest through the aging cycle. 90

Richard Mayson:Mid-deep youthful hue at the core, with a broad tawny rim; rich and plummy, still quite vibrant, with a touch of spirit showing through; full, rich, well defined, fruit-driven on the palate, nicely balanced, showing some savory toasty character and retaining a dusting of tannin on the finish 91
