Michael Schuster:Dense, persistent, sweetly ripe, oak-tinged, cassis Cabernet fruit on the nose; perfectly balanced, rich middleweight wine, finely, firmly tannic, with, currently, the tannin being a little oak-dry in texture; sweet, fresh, cassis taste, long, concentrated, delicately complex, with an almost velvety core of fruit within the firm, fine tannin frame; long, beautifully sustained flavor and fine, subtly sweet fruit, and gravel-aroma persistence. A very fine Mouton, which will need time; I feel this is just beginning to close up. 2020–35+. 18.5+
