BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Dense, still fairly closed nose, mineral and ripe red fruit; well balanced in a firm style, with fresh acidity and fine, firm tannin; crisp and sweet in flavor, long and close-grained, if slightly austere in style, but also complex and complete; long across the palate and with a lovely, sweet red-fruit persistence. Will need time but should be very good. 2020–35+. 17+
