Michael Schuster: Black-red; fresh, crisp, intense blackcurrant fruit to smell; both rich and very firmly tannic in constitution; plenty of fruit here, but also a very present, oak-dry texture alongside the new oak aromas; oak presence dominates the fine fruit at the moment. Hope it will harmonize, but it’s an even bet. Good, but astringency dominant for the moment! 2020-35+. 16?
