Stephen Brook: Delicate appley nose, quite fragrant and aromatic. Rich and rounded, with ample weight of fruit. Sufficiently concentrated to keep flabbiness at bay, and there’s some tangy minerality to balance the overt fruitiness. But it’s not that exciting, and it tastes as if it had been picked just beyond the point of optimal ripeness. Only moderate length. 14.5
Simon Larkin: Aromas akin to cooking-apple peel, but there is also a zesty orange character to the nose. The palate shows a lovely sense of proportion. Ripe, juicy, and succulent, with a darting note of appley acidity. The palate is well defined, with an admirable sense of proportion and a zesty, juicy quality to the fruit. Long and persistent, this is a fine Riesling. 15.5
Andreas Larsson: Stony and mineral on the nose, with nice purity and some floral notes. The palate is rather full, still in a firm stage, with a bright acidity and young fruit. One can sense a rather high alcohol, but it is well balanced with plenty of extract. With very nice persistence and good purity, it should open up beautifully after a few more years. 17.5
