BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Dense color, very little development. Rich, sweet, slightly Porty in style. Tannic, chocolaty, dry; some VA, but complex tannins; nice balance, with some freshness and length. Slightly too much oak and alcohol, but a rich wine. 17

Jesús Barquín: Deep cherry. Powerful and intense. The palate is a tad aggressive, with bitter tannins that detract from the overall enjoyment. Excessive for my taste. 14.5

Alex Hunt: Fruit aromas on the borderline between ripe and overripe. The palate is heftily extracted, though it does at least also offer some fresh acidity. Monolithic but with a certain neatness as well. 14
