Tim Atkin: Youthful ruby red, with a touch of development at the rim. Attractive, spicy, herbal Mediterranean nose of spices and fresh herbs, with some baked earth. Really good: combines freshness with ripe red and black fruits, acidity, and length. Balanced, poised and will age well. Medium-bodied style and better for it 17

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, bright. Fresh, almost floral nose; hints of cherry. Medium-light, firm acid in balance, good plum-cherry fruit on palate. Tannins a bit drying on finish but would go well with food 15

Bruno Besa: Deep ruby to garnet-pink rim. Open, spicy nose of red and black fruit, with very elegant and restrained character, with hints of cigar box and thyme. Balanced, mediumto full-bodied palate, with big tannins and high acidity and fruit that may not stand up in the future. A very well-made and clean wine, with slightly simple fruit 16
