Nicolas Belfrage: Relatively light color, but in no way incorrect. Delicate floral aroma. Very correct —indeed, classic Barolo, with acidity and tannin in place. Very floral. Not from a great site but made by a very good winemaker. Very good wine, slightly dilute - 16.5
Stephen Brook: Fairly deep brick red. Sweet and slightly cooked nose, some red fruits and cherries. Medium-bodied and rather slack, this lacks concentration and drive. The fruit is pleasant enough, but it tails off fast. Easygoing but characterless - 13
Jancis Robinson: Mid-aged ruby color, with a rusty, even slightly yellow rim. Very evolved, rather mild nose. Not one of the most exciting or spirited. Does the business without being very thrilling or tense. Very tart and green on the palate. Drink 2014–18 - 14
