Nicolas Belfrage: Typical hue. Somewhat dumb, slightly cardboardy nose—the glass? Plenty of good ripe fruit on the palate. Firm tannins and acidity, but charm is there in the form of slight Portiness at the back, mitigated by a slight bitter hit. Good length; could drink soon but best to wait four years- 15.:
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny rim. Intense, youthful nose, with small red fruits, wet stone-like minerality, and touches of roses and violets. Medium to full body, a touch of green acidity, and slightly simple finish. Classic Barolo that may balance itself with age- 15.:
Jancis Robinson: Mid-ruby. Very clear. Lightweight and floral. Rose petals on the nose here. Lovely direct appeal. Very lifted; this tastes as though it comes from a relatively cool site. Appetizing and confident. Sinewy and no attempt to sweeten this up. Elegant. Drink 2014–24- 17 :
