Nicolas Belfrage: Medium-depth color; bright. Somewhat uneventful nose as yet. Chunky and correct, it has the parts—lively acidity and muscular tannins—but lacks coherence. Certainly not drinking yet; check again in two to four years: who knows, it might be a sleeping classic- 15.5:
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to orange rim. Open, oxidized nose, with developed black fruit. Green and short- 12:
Jancis Robinson: Bright crimson. Some obvious sweet oak on the nose—definitely not classic! Sweet claret-like build. Just a bit of a dry tang on the finish betrays its origins. Aroma of baked apples. But not very typical. Drink 2015–20- 13 :
