Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc3. Pungent, perfumed nose. Some fat but good at least sufficient acidity, which holds the floral element on the finish. Wine of good character, perhaps a bit broad for typical Italian style, but well made with real length. Good example. Drink with light meats 1 6 or dishes with cream sauces- 16

Marcel Orford-Williams: Smoky, pretty dry, full flavor; rich, clean, good length but not much middle- 14

Joanna Simon: Pale straw. Fresh, leafy, moderately aromatic; light minerality with a touch of new-mown hay. Vibrant palate with peach fruit and spicy notes. Quite concentrated and creamy textured. Shows a little oak but is not unbalanced by it. Good weight, balanced by acidity; medium-long, fresh, peppery finish- 16
