Andrew Jefford: Very full gold; evanescent mousse. Lots of autumn fruits here; an autumn symphony, and half way to Tokaji... plus a few bubbles. On the palate, the wine is very round-shouldered and evolved, but at the same time relatively richly acidic. That acidity has evolved beautifully, hence its overall tarte tatin character. A lovely thing to drink, though utterly different (I presume) to its youthful self. Not for further keeping, unless you have necrophiliac tendencies... 17
Tom Stevenson: Overoxidized for its age. 12
