Andrew Jefford: Full gold. Impressive aromatic complexity here: layers of white blossom, cream, perfumed grasses, milled grains, pounded oatflake. Another wine whose unobvious aromatic charm reels you in like a hapless tench. On the palate, this is broad, rich, aromatic, and nuanced, with a sappy and vibrant core but that same spectacular aromatic laying that was apparent on the nose. Very fine concentration and poise; plenty of sap and vinosity to take to table. A glorious mouthful. 94
Andreas Larsson: Still a rather youthful nose, combining floral, grapey, and primary fruit notes, with no noticeable oak. The palate has medium weight, some phenolic compounds, a bit closed on the finish at present; not very long, lacking some acidity, feels a bit muted and neutral. 80
Jancis Robinson: Copper-gold. Good lift to this extraordinary blend! Sturdy and quite open. Very friendly and intriguing, though without enough tension for the very long haul. The sweetness will be just a little obvious for some perhaps. A tad stolid. Drink 2013–17. 89
