Andrew Jefford: Deep, saturated black-red. This is an attractive scent: sweet red fruits, a gentle, teasing style, some autumn hedgerow vivacity, a touch of orange blossom. On the palate, it does have the rather fierce acidity that marks many of the Margaux wines, but there is more depth of fruit here than for many, there are some good balancing tannins, and the fruit has fragrance and lift. Almost fleshy, indeed. 2018–25. 89
Michael Schuster: Fine, sweet nose; rich middleweight wine, fresh to crisp, finely tannic; sweet-fruited, juicy, sappy Margaux in a typically slightly more solid style, plenty of flavor behind the fine, dry tannin, gently complex, with nice length. 2012–35+. 89 +
