Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black-red. The fruit is a touch raisiny, but this is dark, close-grained, and smoldering, with lots of menthol and camphor. Interesting and unusual, but not quite classical. On the palate, it is rich, dense, and earthy, but has those same menthol and camphor notes. A wine of seriousness and interest, but a little bit effortful and unclassical. 2018–24. 90
