Tim Atkin: Mid-purple/ruby. Ripe, slightly jammy, Barossa-style nose. Minty, sweetened-up, unbalanced palate, which is also rather too jammy for my taste. Simple, one-dimensional. Added acid, too, I suspect. 9

Alex Hunt: Rich aromas of coffee bean, oak, and linctussy fruit. The palate has a candied-peel edge, chewy tannins, plenty of concentration, and no undue alcohol—but it is a little ungainly. 13

Anthony Rose: Good, vivid, youthful color. Attractively perfumed raspberry- and mulberry-fruit characters on the nose. On the palate, this is in a nicely vibrant, juicy, approachable style, with a complex touch of spicy oak and overall lots of enjoyable nubile juicy cranberry-/mulberry-fruit flavors and freshness. Not one for the long haul but satisfying now. 15.5
