Tim Atkin: Mature. Possibly fading a little already—a shame, because the fruit is quite light and fresh. Finishes dry and tannic and weakly, with a whimper not a shout. 11

Alex Hunt: Quite herbal aromas, and more red fruit than black. A strange cherry-cola flavor and slight oxidation, but fine structure. 12.5

Anthony Rose: Mid-ruby, quite evolved in color. Charred, coconutty oak aroma. Similarly, a sweet and undefined palate with lots of charry, coconutty, wannabe Rioja-style characters, leaving an overall impression of char, chew, and bitterness. Coarse and commercial. 13
