Jesús Barquín: Very pale in color. This is not currently very expressive on the nose, with just a hint of aniseed, which is echoed on the palate. Simple, but balanced and sufficiently long. 85

Andrew Jefford: Pale white-gold. Pretty scents of soft summer fruits and flowers, though very discreet; you do have to search a little. Lively, full, and sappy on the palate, with vivid yet ripe acidity and some supporting weight. Perhaps a little more character will emerge with time; and there is certainly no hurry to drink up here. 85

Richard Mayson: Ditto color; granny smith aromas, simple, clean. Possibly a touch of oak on the nose; similaron the palate, crisp appley fruit, not Cox’s, moreGranny Smith with a touch of oaky tannin towardthe finish. Good but a little disjointed overall to bereally enjoyable. 82
